When working night shifts, always pack sunglasses. You never know when it's going to become day shift. Goodnight, Oppo.

That’s why I always leave my sunglasses in the truck.

My 2 cents is to always keep emergency shades stashed in the car. They don’t have to be good...I found my pair of pugs in the middle of a trail in Richfield and they are scratched to hell, but they make bright or direct sun driving tolerable in the times I’ve needed them.

I always keep a spare pair in my car, nothing fancy, just some relatively cheap ones with polarized lenses.

I have 3 pairs of sunglasses, none more than $15. Learned my lessons the hard way. And so much good stuff on Amazon now...
1. Car pair (ugly, but polarized and lots of eye coverage)
2. Sports/running pair (ultralight)
3. Fashion pair (tortoiseshell/hipster attempt to be “with it” )
Always have the car pair in the car.

S
ame. I actually have two pair stashed in the mini-van since my wife tends to steal one pair cause she ‘lost’ hers and another pair in the G6.

I DO know when it’s gonna become day shift because I have both a watch and approximate knowledge of when sunrise is.

When I worked 3rd shift at McDonald’s I’d often end up working until 9 or 10 am instead of the 6am I was supposed to leave at.
If you want to see hell go work a 12 hour shift at McDonald’s

If it is sunny out , I’m never more than 10 feet from my sunglasses.

Yeah I do because my transition lenses don’t work with auto glass obviously. With my good vision plan I seem to stock up on prescription sunglasses.
